Sometimes one just happens upon something interesting. That was the case when Mike and I were walking to a music shop. (The one I bought the ney flute from) All of a sudden there was this old section of wall with a bunch of arches so I grabbed my camera at shot a few pictures.
It turns out we discovered the Valens Aqueduct. The wall is a remnant of an old Roman aqueduct from the 4th century AD Constantinople (not Istanbul).
I mean the 4th century? That is pretty cool!
